  • Cut two little arms out of the white paper and paste it to the sides of the foot cutout.
  • Attach the googly eyes on the ghost.

Egg Carton Spider Craft

Here, we transform an old egg carton in to dozens of spiders with this simple craft; although kindergartners may need supervision while construction.

Materials Needed:

  • Cardboard Egg carton
  • Red marker
  • Black paint
  • 4 Black Pipe cleaners
  • Googly eyes
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Paint Brush

What to do:

  • Cut out a cup neatly from the egg carton and trim the sides to avert flapping.
  • Paint over the cup with black paint, making sure it is thoroughly coated.
  • Punch out 4 equal spaced holes on both sides of the cup, making a total of 8 holes.
  • Thread small pipe cleaners through each hole to come out through the opposite end, trimming any access length.
  • Bend the pipe cleaners on each end to resemble spider legs.
  • Glue Googly eyes to the cup and use a red marker to draw a smile.

Tissue Paper Mummies

Not only would kids in schools in Muhaisnah love these adorable festoons, these tissue paper mummies are super easy for even a little hooligan to handle on his own. Hang these mummies from the roof and you are close to summoning the spirits of Halloween:

Material Needed:

  • White tissue paper
  • Toilet roll
  • Googly eyes
  • White yarn
  • Glue

What to do:

  • Surround yourself in tissue paper and begin by tearing the paper in thin strips. Don’t fret about making the strips even.
  • Take an empty tissue roll and slather the cardboard with glue, coating thoroughly with a brush.
  • Take a strip of tissue paper and wrap it loosely around the roll until you reach the end of the strip. Repeat with all the strips.
  • Drape a small length of yarn clumsily around the mummy and glue the ends in place.
  • Stick the Googly eyes on your mummy.
